Burton Esq., and of the Mariner's Arms, ht. 7 1/4 in.; another with splashed and brushed bands of pink, polychrome enameled black transfers with Mason's Arms below the spout, Success to the Tars of Old England to one side, a verse to the other side, ht. 7 3/4 in. Mariner''s Arms jug: glaze wear along very edge of top rim; areas of scratching to the glaze; footrim with chip of 1 7/8". Mason''s arms jug: 1" hairline to spout; heavy glaze wear along very edge of top rim; glaze loss to spout lip; sporatic scratching to the glaze; 1 1/4" chip to footrim.
