Liverpool Creamware Black Transfer Printed Jug, England, c. 1800, large oval cartouches to either side, one titled Faith, Hope & Charity, the other Religion, below the spout a village landscape, ht. 9 3/4 in. Spout rim with two 3/16" chips and some stain spots; spout also with a 2" firing line at join to body on inside only, another at the V base of spout; belly of the body with horizontal glaze scratch lines; several circular stains scattered to the sides and under the base.
