Portrait Miniature of a Young Woman Wearing a Floral Bonnet, c. 1840, watercolor on ivory, oval bust-length portrait portraying the woman with light brown hair and blue eyes wearing a long gold beaded necklace and a gray dress with a wide neckline extending off the shoulders, 2 1/2 x 2 in., in an oval gilt-brass chased locket frame with a lock of hair on the reverse.
