Diminutive Federal Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Marble-top Sideboard, New York, c. 1810-15, the veined marble top set in a mitred frame above a case of three drawers and four hinged doors with tombstone panels centering a skirt drawer, on ring-turned slightly swelled legs with leaf carving, on cast brass hairy paw feet, with lion's head pulls, refinished, (imperfections and minor restoration), ht. 42 1/2, case wd. 48, dp. 25 1/2 in. The door with veneer patching and cracks, and also on skirt drawer; back section of mitred frame patched.
