Queen Anne Carved Maple Crook'd-back Side Chair, probably coastal New Hampshire, early 18th century, the scrolled and beaded serpentine crest above a vasiform splat and raking stiles, with upholstered slip seat and cut-out apron, and squared incised cabriole legs on carved Spanish feet, and joined to the block-turned rear legs by bulbous vase and ring-turned stretchers, mellow patina, (imperfections), ht. 43 1/4, seat ht. 17 in.
