Currier & Ives, publishers (American, 1857-1907) American Farmyard-Morning. , 1872 (Conningham, 139). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Large folio lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 19 3/4 x 26 5/8 in., housed in a later molded wood frame with gilt liner. Condition: Margins of 1 1/2 in. or more, light toning, minor foxing, light mat stain. There are three fox marks in sky, image and color good, may have been cleaned, reverse shows acid stains from previous wood backboards.
