Round Masonic Decorated Pantry Box, America, 19th century, lapped-seam construction box with pine top and bottom and ash sides, the cover decorated with a five-point star and square and compass flanking inscribed name "Whitney Long," ht. 8 1/2, dia. 13 in. Clear varnished surace, there is a 1 1/4 in. crack on lower side from nail, a few slivers of loss on base edge, some light discoloration.
