Printed Cotton Patriotic Centennial Quilt, America, c. 1876, composed of printed cotton segments depicting the "Memorial Hall Art Gallery" in Philadelphia, a thirty-six star American flag, and flags of the world, arranged in a grid with star and stripe borders, backed with printed red and brown printed fabric with alternating squares of shields and weapons of war, quilted with stitches in a diamond pattern, (minor toning and light stains), 60 x 87 in.
