Federal Mahogany Inlaid Card Table, probably Massachusetts, c. 1800, the top with elliptical front, half serpentine ends and square corners, with line and dart-inlaid edge, on conforming deep apron of panels defined by stringing centering a wavy birch oval in a mitred surround, on five square tapering legs with wavy birch paneled dies and stringing continuing to cuffs, refinished, (restoration), ht. 28 1/2, wd. 35, dp. 17 in. Some patching to inlaid cuffs, legs are veneered (but made that way).
