Federal Maple Upholstered Easy Chair, southern New England, late 18th century, with serpentine cresting and sides on outward-scrolling arms, on concave front and molded square tapering legs joined to raking rear legs by an H-stretcher, old refinish, (minor repair), ht. 48, seat ht. without cushion 14 in. right rear leg was broken and reglued, strengthened with an old wood screw.
