Engraved Memorial Medallion, probably New England, c. 1818, round gilt-metal medallion, one side engraved with the image of a woman grieving beside a monument inscribed "Mr. Philip Gee/Died Nov'r 23 1818/Aged 61 Years," the reverse inscribed with a pious verse and scrolled foliage, the edge inscribed "Do All For The Glory Of God A.G.," dia. 1 5/8 in. Note: Found in the Connecticut River valley of New Hampshire, near the Vermont border. Minor surface wear.
