Scrimshaw Cup and Baling Hook, 19th century, the cup composed of a horn bowl and turned baleen and bone shaft and base; the baling hook with carved ivory handle with clenched fist terminals, and steel hook, (minor cracks on cup shaft), lg. 4 5/8, 5 3/4 in. Two minor cracks, one at top of shaft on a bone disk, the other on medial bone turning.
