Federal Mahogany Tall Clock, Massachusetts, c. 1800, with pierced fret top and three finials, fan and line inlay on waist and base, brass stop-fluting on hood and waist columns, two-stage base molding and ogee bracket feet, 13 in. painted iron dial by "Byrne" with Arabic numerals, date dial, floral corners and arch, eight-day time and strike movement with period pendulum all powered by two cast iron weights, (restoration) ht. 94 1/2 in. Replacement glue blocks in the base, object right front foot pieced out approximately 1 in., other minor base repairs, fret and plinths are restored, finials are period, replacement bell and second hand, paint loss on lower dial post area.
