Engraved Whale's Tooth, one side ornamented with a compass star with directionals over a ship with gunports at sea above dolphins flanking a lobed design, the reverse showing a rose blossom over a laurel wreath with a sailor and his lady beneath a tree and spire-topped church in the distance, heightened with red and blue sealing wax, (minor age cracks and base edge chips), ht. 6 1/2 in. A few base edge cracks, 1 1/4 and 1 5/8 in. lg.
