Six Framed Transfer-decorated Pottery Tiles, John Sadler, Merseyside, England, 1756-75, square tiles with black transfer designs, one depicting a basket of flowers, three with genre scenes with sailors and gentlemen and their ladies, one showing tavern patrons, and one with a biblical scene with Abraham and Isaac, 5 x 5 in. each, in later mahogany frames. The one with tavern patrons has several small pits, the others have some surface scratches.
