Attributed to Montardier (French, Early 19th Century) Brig Charles Leaving the Port of Havre de grace for Boston Ebenezer Meacom Comman der. Unsigned, titled below. Watercolor and gouache on paper, 16 1/2 x 20 3/8 in., in a later molded wood frame. Condition: Toning, scattered light stains and pigment losses. Not laid down, the stains and spots are light 1/8-1/2 in dia. mainly in sky, some in sails.
