Two Portrait Miniatures of a Lady and a Gentleman, c. 1800, watercolor on ivory, oval bust-length portraits, 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 in., in elongated octagonal gilt-brass slide frames. Condition: Good, minor paint discoloration at extreme edges of gentleman's portrait, scattered minute interior surface debris. The bracelets each have a velvet ribbon band attached to the clasps which are somewhat deteriorated.
