Mahogany Stenciled Column and Splat Shelf Clock by Spencer, Hotchkiss & Company, Salem Bridge, Connecticut, c 1830, with stenciled half-columns flanking the door, 12 in. painted and gilt decorated wooden dial with Arabic numerals and seconds bit, remains of maker's label on backboard, looking glass below, paw feet and eight-day time and strike brass movement with rack and snail strike, pendulum and double compounded lead weights with brass pulleys, ht. 29 1/4 in.
