Reeded Pillar and Scroll Clock by Ives & Lewis, Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1825, the scroll top case with reeded columns and carved capitals flanking the full length door with glazed upper section over the painted wooden dial with Roman numerals and gilded spandrels, lower door section with looking glass and painted tablet, printed maker's label inside stating Improved Patent Clocks, Made and Sold by Ives & Lewis, Bristol, Connecticut , 30 hour time and strike movement with roller pinions, count wheel strike, pulleys mounted in seating board, two iron weights and pendulum ht. 37 3/4 in. Dial is undisturbed, replacement painted tablet, case refinished, replacement hour wheel.
