Queen Anne Walnut Drop-leaf Dining Table, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, on cabriole legs ending in pad feet on platforms, with scrolled shaped apron, old surface, (repairs and imperfections), ht. 27 1/2, wd. 47 1/2, dp. 45 in. one leg is pieced from the top diagonally down 12 inches (most of the leg is original); wood screws added to repair; 8 in. patch at one leaf joint at hinge; wood screws added to secure top to base; glue blocks are all there; staining to top; leaves have shrunk.
