Mahogany Sharp Gothic or "Steeple" Clock by Elisha Manross, Bristol, Connecticut, with turned spires, half-round moldings flanking the full-length door with transfer and paint decorated lower tablet depicting a paddle-wheeler, printed maker's label inside backboard, painted zinc Roman numeral dial and thirty-hour time and strike brass spring movement, ht. 19 1/2 in. One brass spring replaced with steel, minor paint losses on dial, lacking a minute hand, painted tablet is the original; veneer in good condition.
