Arthur Parton (American, 1842-1914) Trees in Blossom Signed "Arthur Parton" l. l. Oil on canvas, 18 x 23 in. (45.7 x 58.4 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, craquelure, retouch, partially reinforced signature. The work is lined with Beva or similar. There are areas of surface rubs. Craquelure with a few small areas of separting. Retouch and varnish inconsistencies throughout. Retouch (in addition to signature) is scattered small areas and light washes with a medium/large areas at center, center right, and along the right edge.
