American (Cincinnati, OH), circa 1895-1900. A solid oak wood cane or umbrella display case with glass top and display windows, the quarter-round hinged case top with side windows opening from the front with wooden ball and turned cylinder grille for the support of canes and umbrellas, the lower case with three display windows having six stepped shelves each with a row of holes for the placement of canes or umbrellas. The plaque at the front of lid reading "The Oscar Onken Co./Cincinnati, OH". Approximate height 46", width 36", depth 18.5".
