Charles Constantine Hoffbauer (American, 1875-1957) Lot of Three Works: Village in Egypt , Portrait Study of an Egyptian Man, and Study of Infantrymen Portrait estate stamped "C. H." l.r., inscribed indistinctly l.c., Village and Infantrymen estate stamped "C. Hoffbauer" l.r. and l.l. respectively. Village oil on canvas mounted to Masonite, Portrait and Infantrymen watercolor on paper, sizes to 9 x 12 in. (22.9 x 30.5 cm), each framed. Condition: Village with subtle surface grime, not examined out of frames. Provenance: From the collection of Frank Cook Adams, Boston, Massachusetts.
