Condition: Retouch, varnish inconsistencies, tears with losses, damage to tacking edges, losses, craquelure with lifting and separating, surface grime. Deterioration of tacking margin (particularly along top edge), canvas deformations, two L-shaped tears with accompanying losses in the l.r. quadrant measuring approx. 1 1/2 x 2 in. and 1 x 3 in. each, old retouch along frame liner u.r. and scattered throughout, canvas does not appear lined.
