Douglas Huebler (American, 1924-1997) Nocturnal 7-58 , 1958 Unsigned, identified on a label from Carl Siembab Gallery, Boston, affixed to the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 34 x 50 in., framed. Condition: Surface grime, lifting, and minor losses. Provenance: Purchased from Carl Siembab Gallery, by inheritance to a private New England collection. Minor alligatoring, several areas of lifting in u.r. and u.l. quadrants, losses with the largest measuring approx. 1 1/2"H x 1/4"W.
