George III Mahogany Slant-lid Desk, late 18th century, of typical form, lid enclosing a stepped interior of drawers and pigeonholes, case with two short and two long drawers on bracket feet, ht. 41, wd. 39 3/4, dp. 21 in. Top with heavy waterstaining; wrinkling veneers; heavy losses along back edge left including a piece of molding; feet likely reduced; side with some chipping; age typical minor defects.
