Assembled Meissen Blue Onion Pattern Service, Germany, late 19th/early 20th century, consisting of a covered vegetable tureen, lg. 13; four soup plates, dia. 9 1/2; covered butter dish, dia. 7; square sided serving bowl, lg. 8 3/4; oval platter, lg. 18; square serving bowl, lg. 9 1/4 in.; deep bowl, dia. 8 in.; six plates, dia. 9 1/2; five plates, dia. 7 5/8; plate, dia. 8 1/4; six fruit plates with reticulated borders, dia. 8; a fruit bowl with reticulated border, dia. 8; covered pear-shaped chocolate pot, ht. 9 3/4; six plates, dia. 5 7/8; two coasters, dia. 4 1/2; four egg cups, ht. 2 5/8; four square-shaped open salt cellars, lg. 1 1/2 in.; four lobed cups with three saucers; four two-handled bouillon cups, four teacups and seven saucers; together with five other Meissen items, two cups and saucers and three sauce dishes; and a blue decorated tablecloth and napkins. Covered vegetable tureen: cover with a V shaped chp out and associated 2" hairline; chips to both handles; cover probably from another tureen (slightly smaller). Square serving bowl has a 1/8 and 1/4" rim chips 9 1/2" plates: one with a 5" hairline; most with cancellation marks. Reticulated plates: all with cancellation marks. Chocolate pot and cover: chips to finial; both cover "locks" missing; large piece broken off and missing to spout; base with hairlines and other damage. Three 5 7/8" plates with cancellation marks.
