Sevres-style Porcelain Gilt Metal Mounted Sconce, France, late 19th/early 20th century, the plate enamel and gilt decorated with a wine red border of floral cartouches surrounding a central scene of lovers, plate dia. 9 1/2 in.; set in a two light metal frame, overall lg. 17 in. The plate is in very good condition throughout; the frame and sconces with gilt wear, especially to the sconces. The inserts to the candle nozzles are missing.
