Loetz (Austrian, 1836-1947), circa 1905. Loetz bronze mounted iridized glass water jug or pitcher in the "Crete Formosa" decor, the pinched pitcher ensconced with a network of thick raised irregular threads of blue and vibrant green or "crete" and applied to one side with an iridized emerald green handle. The Formosa design is applied on the finished bottom as well. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 8.8", diameter 8".
