Cased Victorian Ivory-Handled Knife and Carving Set, late 19th century, comprising eighteen dinner knives (lg. 11), eighteen luncheon knives (lg. 8 5/8), four carving forks, four carving knives, and a steel, all with Joseph Rodgers & Sons steel blades/tines, and with spiral flute-carved and tapering ivory handles, in fitted burl walnut veneered case. minor usage wear, and age typical lining/cracks to ivory. steel darkened. lid of case with some lifting and shrinkage cracks to veneer; four large knives with cracked handles, nine smaller knives and four carving pieces with same type of crack.
