Edwardian Painted and Parcel-gilt Satinwood Open Armchair, early 20th century, rectangular backrest inset with painted columnar slats and a scene of playing children, overupholstered seat and square, tapered legs, seat ht. 18 1/2 in. Left arm loose and with loss to arm joint at upright; painted panel with top to bottom shrinkage crack running through it; age typical minor additional defects.
