Pair of William IV/Victorian Weighted Silver Candlesticks, Sheffield, 1837, makers' mark JW ER, with flute and flat leaf sconces, on reeded tapering stem topped and ending in flower stems, on lobed weighted foot with foliate rim, engraved at foot with small crest, ht. 9 1/8 in. Provenance: Property of Samuel Codman. one with ding to edge of base. the other with denting to edges of base. both with all over light scratching from overly abrasive cleaning. no nozzles.
