Sterling Ice Cream Set, mid-19th century, with paneled stems ending in ball-form terminals, comprising twelve spoons, lg. 5 1/2, monogrammed, and a server with engraved sterling blade and ball terminal, lg. 11 1/8 in., the back of blade engraved with presentation inscription dated 1864, approx. 10 troy oz. blade engraving reads: presented to W.W. Keys by the Melville Musical Society, Dec. 1864. ball terminals of spoon engraved only with monogram K. bal terminal of server with shield and engraved band. wear to engraving on ball terminal, and at end of blade. others with minor surface/age wear.
