Federal Cherry Tall Clock, Connecticut River Valley, Massachusetts, or Southern New Hampshire, c. 1810, with pierced fret, fluted finial plinths and freestanding columns flanking the arched and glazed hood door, banding and line inlay on waist door, flat base molding with ogee feet, 12 in. painted iron Roman numeral dial with floral corners and arch, eight-day, time and strike, skeletonized movement with period wooden pendulum rod, brass faced bob and two weights, ht. 96 in. Dial is repainted, fret top and feet are replacements, weights are mismatched: one is a period tin cased weight, the other, modern cast iron.
