Pair of Chippendale Brass and Iron Andirons, New York, third quarter 18th century, the andiron with flame finials on faceted ball, (lacking swirled bulbous columns), over square plinths, cabriole legs and ball and claw feet, (losses, seam separations), ht. 18, wd. 15, dp. 19 1/4 in. one of the square plinths has a separation on the cornerand a couple small losses above. the other andiron has a small loss on the rear of the faceted ball.
