After Carlo Dolci (Italian, 1616-1686) St. John the Evangelist Unsigned, inscribed "John Fisk Allen" on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 38 x 31 1/2 in. (96.5 x 80.0 cm), unframed. Condition: Retouch, varnish inconsistencies, craquelure with mild separating, scattered surface abrasions, surface grime. N.B. The original, an octagonal composition, is in the collection of the Palazzo Pitti, Florence.
