Attributed to Jan Cossiers (Flemish, 1600-1671) Banquet Scene Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 66 x 86 in. (167.6 x 218.4 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure. Scattered retouch in the u.l. quadrant in background above courtier''s shoulder, retouch along entire length of bottom 1" above frame, approx. 1/4" height, restored horizontal tear and retouch beneath courtier''s chin (approx. 8" length), retouch along entire height of painting (approx. 1/4" width) located between fluted glass and woman''s face as well as between the couple''s faces at far right (both do not appear to be the result of restored tears), clean surface.
