French, late 19th century. A walnut occasional table in the Louis XV style comprising a serpentine edged molded top over a conforming frieze with central carved rocaille shell within a c-scroll with carved leaves and flowers, the sides with central carved molded shield forms, the corners carved with shells within double c-scrolls terminating in tapering finials flanked by chip carved reeded sides, terminating in four cabriole legs with scroll feet. Approximate height 29.5", width 35.75", depth 24".
