Ben Foster (American, 1852-1926) Evening Landscape Signed "Ben Foster" l. r., identified on a presentation plaque. Oil on canvas, 11 1/4 x 8 3/4 in. (28.6 x 22.2 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, surface grime. The work is lined with wax adhesive. Retouch is small to medium sized areas (predominately l.l. and within the trees). There are also some avrnish inconsistencies. The work might benefit from a gentle cleaning.
