Xanthus Russell Smith (American, 1839-1929) Lot of Two Drawings: Chickens and Wagon and Horse and Covered Wagon Chickens initialed and dated "X. S. Sept 19th 1854" l.l., Horse unsigned. Pencil on paper, sight sizes to 7 1/2 x 11 1/2 in. (19.1 x 29.2 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle toning, scattered staining and/or foxing, not examined out of frames. Provenance: The estate of the artist, through a New York gallery.
