Carl Sammons (American, 1883-1968) Ocotillo, La Quinta Canyon, Palm Springs, California Signed "CARL SAMMONS" l. r., title inscribed on the stretcher. Oil with tooling on canvas, 20 1/4 x 26 1/4 in. (51.4 x 66.7 cm), framed. Condition: Good. Very minor surface grime, small area of retouch and/or pigment fluorescence in the l.r. quadrant (approx. 1/4 x 1/2 in.) which does not appear as a restoration of any underlying damage to the canvas, no or light varnish layer.
