Lot of Two Works: George Henry Bogert (American, 1864-1944), Venice Sketch , monogrammed l. l., a partial period label affixed to the reverse, oil on canvasboard, 8 x 11 in. (20.3 x 27.9 cm) Continental School, 20th Century, Canal View , indistinctly signed l.r., ink wash, watercolor and gouache on paper/board, sight size 12 x 15 in. (30.5 x 38.1 cm); both framed (under glass). Condition: Venice with retouch, Canal with toning, not examined out of frames. The Bogert has minor scattered retouch and might benefit from cleaning. The other work in visibly toned. Although they have not been removed from their frames, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
