Rembrandt Harmensz van Rijn (Dutch, 1606-1669) Self Portait in a Velvet Cap and Plume, 1638, an 18th century or later impression (Bartsch, 20). Signed and dated in the plate. Etching on paper, plate size 5 1/2 x 4 1/8 in. (14.0 x 10.4 cm), framed. Condition: Margins over 1/4 inch, not examined out of frame. The paper looks to be laid, and the visible margins are over 1/4 inch. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
