Signed "Matisse" in pencil l.l., lithographed "POUR VERSAILLES..." on the supporting sheet, and numbered "76" in pencil l.l. Lithograph on chine colle, image size 15 x 10 7/8 in. (38.1 x 27.5 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning and rippling, not examined out of frame. The supporting sheet measures 21 x 14 7/8 in. There is mat burn 5/8 inches out from the edge of the chine colle. There is water staining to the supporting sheet along the lower edge, well below the image. The toning is even and unobtrusive. There is a subtle stain to the lower left of the image, just outside of the line of her cheek.
