Marguerite Kirmse (American, 1885-1954) Who Goes There? Signed "Marguerite Kirmse" in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.l. Etching on paper, plate size 8 1/4 x 6 in. (20.8 x 15.0 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning, not examined out of frame. Provenance: From the Estates of Mary Ann and Frederick Lippitt, Providence, Rhode Island. Although the work has not been removed from its frame, there is some subtle toning and very small scattered fox marks (predominately visible along the right side).
