Sir Francis Seymour Haden (British, 1818-1910) Lot of Two Views: A Water Meadow, 1859, final state before the cancelled plate (Schneiderman, 24iv), inscribed "To Dr. J.W. Palmer Early proof..." in pencil l.l.; and Windmill Hill No. 1, c. 1877, probably the fourth state of five (Schneiderman, 152), inscribed "...Trial C" in pencil l.l. Both signed "Seymour Haden" in pencil l.r. Etchings on paper, plate sizes approximately 5 7/8 x 8 3/4 in. (14.8 x 22.2 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning and rippling, not examined out of frames.
