Art Nouveau 14kt Gold and Enamel Brooch, attributed to Krementz & Co. , depicting a woman entwined with poppy buds and blossom, old European-cut diamond accent. Note: For an example of this design see "The Glitter and the Gold:Fashioning America's Jewelry" by Ulysses Dietz, p. 116. 1 3/8 in. wide. Slight enamel loss, pin catch replaced with evidence of solder, connection between blossom and face detached (not visible from front and does not affect stability of piece). (1/08)
