Egyptian Revival Enamel Scarab Brooch, attributed to Giacinto Melillo, the carved flourite scarab flanked by cobras and cloisonne enamel wings, within gold mount with granulation and ropetwist accents, lg. 2 in., fitted box, unsigned, (with replaced pin closure). Melillo closure is replaced, back not perfectly finished (minor issues), goldwork of front appears to be work worthy of Melillo''s workshop fitted box is signed, brooch has left its clear impression
