George III Silver Waiter, London, 1809, maker's mark RG, likely that of Robert Garrard, round, bright cut engraved at inner rim with floral and husk band, central crest, reeded rim and three tapered reeded feet ending in balls, dia. 9 5/8 in., approx. 17 troy oz. marks good. RG mark has a pellet between the R and the G. engraving quite worn. all three legs pushed inward somewhat.
